On January 16, 2025, news of Ghanaian journalist and broadcaster, Kofi Adoma accidentally suffering a gunshot in his face emerged after a Facebook post from his colleague, Afia Pokuaa Vim Lady.
His Facebook channel page, Kofi TV posted the video of the incident on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, with a vivid display of how he was shot.
From the video, Kofi Adoma was on the left side of the musketry, wielding the gun. The gunman, in an attempt to shoot into the air, did not raise the gun but, unknowingly, shot Kofi Adomah in the face, causing him to be affected by the gunpowder.
The wife of Broadcast journalist, Miracle Adoma subsequently provided an update on the health status of her husband after reports of the shooting incident.
