The African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) has officially entrusted Libya with hosting the 2025 Men’s African Volleyball Club Championship, scheduled from April 17 to April 30 in Misurata.
This prestigious tournament will serve as the Continental Qualifier for the FIVB 2025 Men’s Club World Championship, drawing elite clubs from across Africa in a battle for supremacy.
Federations must confirm participation by March 6, 2025, ensuring their teams register through the FIVB VIS System. Each federation is permitted to register up to three teams, while the defending champion’s nation can field four teams.
Additionally, final participation documents, including flight details and proof of payment for the $1,000 participation fee, must be submitted by April 3, 2025. No cash payments will be accepted, with teams required to provide a bank transfer confirmation via SWIFT.
The tournament schedule includes an arrival date on April 17, followed by a technical meeting on April 18, before the competition officially begins on April 19 and runs until April 29.
Teams will depart on April 30, concluding what promises to be an electrifying championship showcasing Africa’s top volleyball talent.
With Libya taking center stage, the event marks a crucial milestone in African volleyball, offering a platform for clubs to prove their dominance and secure a spot on the global stage.
