Red Eye of 2 Toff America fame, a legend of a popular music style that fuses Ghanaian culture and hip hop(hiplife) has revealed that he was the only one who accepted and built dancehall legend Stonebwoy up after he left Samini’s High-Grade family(HGF).
According to 2 Toff, he produced Stonebwoy’s first album Grade 1 in 2012 as Nature after the dancehall artiste had left Samini’s HGF. He again disclosed that Livingstone Etse Satekla came begging for management, but he only optioned to produce the young talent by then.
Red Eye doubles as a musician and a producer as Nature.
Again, the USA-based rapper revealed that he prepared and guided 9 songs on the Grade 1 album and asked the Bhimnation boss to make the last song with who he feels like collaborating. Unfortunately, Stonebowoy decided to go back to the HGF again.
”That was when I had a call for Tony, saying … Oh we make ready to sign the boy ooo….. Charlie, you be too much…..we de come studio..”,2 Toff disclosed.
In an interview with popular Sammy Flex, the legendary musician stated that all Samini did was add Samini Music to his hard work for the Bhimnation CEO. Again he fumed that the ‘same people’ signed the Activate hitmaker.
Red Eye also revealed that his first success in the Ghana Music Industry was with ”I believe I Can Fly” a hit song by another hiplife legend, Tinny.
