Member of Parliament for Pru East, Emmanuel Kweku Boam, has expressed appreciation to residents, sponsors and stakeholders for the successful organisation of Sala Fest 2026, describing the event as a memorable celebration that brought together people from across the constituency.
The week-long festival, which featured sporting activities and entertainment, climaxed with an artist night headlined by Ghanaian musician King Paluta at the Yeji Astro Turf.
In a statement following the event, the MP thanked constituents for their massive turnout and support, noting that their participation contributed significantly to the success of the festival.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made it to the Astro Turf to be part of history during the Sala Fest 2026 celebration, especially the unforgettable Artist Night with King Paluta,” he stated.
According to Mr. Boam, the enthusiasm and energy displayed by participants reflected the unity and spirit of the people of Pru East.
“Your presence, energy and support truly made this event remarkable and a memorable experience for our entire constituency,” he added.
The legislator also commended the organisers, sponsors and other stakeholders for their efforts in ensuring the successful execution of the festival’s activities.
“I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the organisers, our proud sponsors and all key stakeholders who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the success of both the Inter-Tribal Gala Competition and the Artist Night,” he said.
Sala Fest 2026 featured a series of community activities, including the Inter-Tribal Gala Competition and musical performances, aimed at promoting unity, social interaction and youth development in the constituency.
The festival attracted hundreds of residents and visitors, with the artist night emerging as one of the major highlights of the celebration.
