A tragic incident unfolded on Saturday night along the Kwaman-Boaman road in the Afigya Kwabre North district of the Ashanti region, where 37-year-old taxi driver Amos Adusei fell victim to a fatal shooting by suspected armed robbers.
The community, already familiar with incidents of robbery, was plunged into deep shock by the unprecedented violence resulting in Adusei’s death.

Isaac Adusei, the Assembly member for the Ahenkro electoral area and brother of the deceased, confirmed the devastating news to Citi News, detailing the sequence of events that led to his brother’s tragic demise.
Isaac Adusei revealed that upon receiving a distressing call late Saturday night about his brother’s involvement in an accident on the Kwaman-Boaman road, he rushed to the scene only to discover a scene of deliberate violence.
He clarified that what initially seemed like a traffic incident turned out to be a targeted attack by armed assailants.
The police arrived on the scene and initiated investigations into the matter while the deceased’s body was transferred to the morgue.
