Mr. Wisdom Kelear, Youth Advocate at The Lord’s Pentecostal Church International, has made a heartfelt plea to Ghanaians for tolerance and unity as the country approaches the 2024 elections.
Speaking at the Men’s Week Celebration held at The Lord’s Pentecostal Church International, House of Liberty in Papaase, hosted by Rev. Thomas Kumeko, Kelear emphasized the importance of respecting diverse political opinions and affiliations during this campaign season.
Kelear highlighted that while political opinions may differ, it is crucial for citizens to engage with each other respectfully and avoid conflicts.
He also urged parents to closely monitor their children’s activities during this politically charged period to prevent them from becoming involved in violence.
His message was clear: focusing on education and personal growth is essential for building a better future for the nation.
The Men’s Week Celebration featured additional insights from guest speaker Mr. Edwin Kpodo, who encouraged fathers to deepen their bonds with their children.
Kpodo emphasized that fatherhood extends beyond providing material needs; it also involves fostering a strong spiritual foundation, drawing inspiration from the biblical example of Abraham, who led his family to God.
Deacon John Mensah, the Men’s Leader at The Lord’s Pentecostal Church International, concluded the week’s events with a note of gratitude for a successful program.
He shared advice for parents and the broader community, reinforcing the importance of support and guidance in nurturing future leaders.
His reflections underscored the celebration’s focus on spiritual and personal development, aiming to positively impact both families and the nation.
