President John Dramani Mahama has said he has identified the community in the Eastern Region where young school children have to cross a water body to access school.
He says his government is determined to resolve this matter as part of ensuring the barriers to education and healthcare are removed.

In a post on his Facebook page, he indicated that the quest of his government to ‘reset’ Ghana includes a determination to remove barriers to education and healthcare across the country.
“We have identified the community where young school children have to cross this water body to access school.
“Earlier today, the MP for Lower West Akim, Owen Kwame Frimpong, visited the Asuokow community and assured them the Eastern Regional Minister will also visit, as we work to permanently and urgently resolve the challenge the people and the school children are confronted with.
“Our quest to Reset Ghana includes a determination to remove barriers to education and healthcare across the country,” his post said.
