Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Hon. Sam Nartey George, has dismissed claims that a vehicle seen in a viral video—bearing a number plate similar to his name—belongs to him.
In a post on his official X account, the MP clarified that the customised plate read “DJATA”, which differs from his own spelling, “DZATA.”
“The claim is FALSE! Anyone who knows me knows I spell my name as DZATA not DJATA as on the number plate,” he stated.
He also added that contrary to speculation, he has not acquired a new vehicle this year and expressed appreciation to those who wished otherwise.
Sam George redirected public attention to a more pressing matter, stating that his current focus is on the response expected from DStv by Monday, July 21, 2025, regarding an ongoing issue he has been pursuing.
My attention has been drawn to this video and attempts to suggest the said vehicle belongs to me.
The claim is FALSE!
