The Honourable Felicia Adjei, Member of Parliament for Kintampo South, is part of a high-level government delegation on a national assignment in Japan, aimed at strengthening Ghana’s international partnerships and unlocking new development opportunities.
The presidential envoy is holding engagements with leading Japanese organisations and corporations to deepen bilateral relations and explore collaboration in infrastructure, investment, and job creation. These efforts form part of Ghana’s broader strategy to attract global partnerships that support its development agenda.
As part of the visit, the delegation met with executives of TICAD Yokohama and the OPPS Organisation for Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). Discussions focused on advancing cooperation in key sectors to accelerate national growth while aligning with Ghana’s long-term economic goals.
Expressing her excitement at being part of the mission, Hon. Adjei stated: “I’m excited to be part of this envoy leading the country’s development. Through this visit, I am also working on collaborating with some Japanese companies to extend development to my constituency, Kintampo.”
The MP highlighted migration, youth unemployment, and access to essential social amenities as urgent issues that need targeted intervention in her constituency.
“Migration, youth unemployment, and access to basic needs have been our major challenges. I am also in talks with some Japanese companies for direct collaboration to support development projects in my constituency,” she said.
Hon. Felicia Adjei’s active participation reflects her dual commitment—supporting Ghana’s broader national development agenda while championing the welfare of her constituents in Kintampo South.
Known for her hands-on approach, she continues to push for initiatives that create jobs and improve access to essential services for her people.
