Member of Parliament for Pru East, Emmanuel Kwaku Boam, has met with the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, to discuss electricity supply challenges affecting communities in the Bono East Region.
The meeting was attended by the Bono East Regional representative on the Council of State and Paramount Chief of the Yeji Traditional Area, Pimampim Yaw Kagbrese V.
According to Mr Boam, the discussions focused on finding lasting solutions to power-related concerns in the region, particularly within the Pru East Constituency.
He said the engagement provided an opportunity to highlight the challenges residents continue to face and the need for interventions to improve electricity access and reliability.
The Pru East MP described the meeting as productive and expressed optimism that the concerns raised would receive the necessary attention from the Ministry.
Mr Boam reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for improved infrastructure and services for his constituents, noting that reliable power supply remains essential for economic growth and improved livelihoods in the area.
The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts by stakeholders in the Bono East Region to address energy challenges and support development across affected communities.
