An aspirant for the Greater Accra Regional Secretary position of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sir Jonah, has raised concerns over what he describes as a deeply fractured front within the party’s regional branch.
Speaking in an interview on Hot 93.9FM’s flagship morning show, ‘Hot Morning Drive‘, hosted by Oman Nana, Sir Jonah delivered a candid assessment of the party’s current state in the capital region.
“There is no unity among members of the NDC in the Greater Accra Region,” Sir Jonah stated plainly during the broadcast.
According to Sir Jonah, fostering genuine reconciliation and rebuilding internal solidarity will be the central pillar of his campaign for the regional secretary executive seat.
He assured party faithful that his immediate priority upon taking office would be to bridge factions and bring together key stakeholders, grassroots organizers, and executive members across all constituencies in the region.
“If I am elected the Secretary in the region, I will work tirelessly to bring everyone together and unite our members,” he added.
