A member of the communication team of former Education Minister Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, Patrick Okyere Afriyie, has made a stunning revelation that the former education minister is tall and humble like former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum is one of the aspirants for the upcoming flagbearership race of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The poll, which is set to take place in January 2026, will witness the former education minister go in stiff competition with former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Agyepong, and Bryan Acheampong.
Speaking as a special guest on Hot 93.9FM’s political talk show – ‘This Week In Parliament’ hosted by Bonohemaa, Patrick Okyere Afriyie, while explaining why delegates of the party should vote Dr Adutwum as the flag bearer of the party, said:
“One of the reasons delegates must vote for Dr Adutwum is because he is like former President Kufuor. He is just like him… He is very humble like Kufuor and very tall like him.”
Upon persuasion by the host Bonohemaa, for Patrick Okyere to explain why he didn’t liken the former education minister to the immediate former president, Nana Akufo-Addo, he quipped:
“It is because Akufo-Addo is short. I am looking at their heights. Dr Adutwum is tall like Kufuor, and he is also humble like Kufuor.”
