2022 Boomplay Highest Streamed female artist, Wendy Asiamah Addo, professionally known as Wendy Shay in the Ghana Music Industry, has enticed attendees with her seductively magnificent stage moves and vibes at the 2023 Shay Concert in a viral video sighted by hotfmghana.com on Twitter.
This was after she expressed her anger at people who criticized her music career, stating that they can never compete with her.

In the viral video, the Ghanaian Afropop singer thanked Ghanaians for her recent achievement as the highly streamed Boomplay artiste in Ghana
However, the artiste went swollen-headed as she showcased her half-naked body to attendees at the 3rd edition of her event. Again, She fumed that people who she is prettier than are even envying her.
”When I came to this Industry, people said Wendy Shay cannot sing, Some said I am not talented, Look at this body, Look at this nya…….. I am prettier than their wives and girlfriends”……the trained nurse by profession stated in closing remarks at her concert as she showcased and entice fans who attended the program.
The 2019 Vodafone Music Award Discovery of the Year winner held the third version of her annual concert at the West Hills mall located at Weija. The event also saw exclusive performances by other high-profile musicians like the controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, young talented dancehall artiste AK Songstress, rap goddess Eno Barony, former BHIM signee Kelvin Bwoy and many more.
The 26-year-old musician with 1.2 Million Twitter followers trained is a nurse by profession and worked as a midwife in the clinical field. She worked as a midwife until she moved to Ghana to pursue her musical dreams. She was introduced to music by Ruff town Records Manager Bullet and signed in January 2018 after the untimely death of label mate Ebony Reigns.
