As part of the Ghana National Fire Service’s (GNFS) ongoing efforts to provide essential safety training to communities and corporate institutions, the Agona Swedru Fire Station’s safety and public relations team conducted a fire safety education session for the staff of Impact Life Insurance.
The event took place in Odakwano, a suburb of Agona Swedru, and focused on equipping the participants with crucial fire safety knowledge.
The training covered various topics, including the components of fire, different types of fuel, classes of fire, and the practical use of fire extinguishers and other extinguishing media.
The session aimed to enhance the staff’s understanding of fire dynamics and the appropriate measures to take in case of a fire emergency.
Participants actively engaged in the session, posing numerous questions about fire safety and public safety protocols. Their inquiries highlighted the importance of such training sessions in addressing common misconceptions and providing clear, actionable information on fire prevention and response.
The training session was documented and filed by the Public Relations Officer of the Central Region on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
This initiative by the GNFS underscores their commitment to enhancing fire safety awareness and preparedness within the community and corporate sectors.
