Member of Parliament for Kumawu Constituency, Ernest Yaw Anim, has welcomed pupils of Bodomase R/C Junior High School to Parliament House as part of an educational visit aimed at exposing them to Ghana’s democratic and legislative processes.
The visit, according to the MP, formed part of efforts to promote civic education and inspire young people to take an active interest in leadership and national development.
Speaking after hosting the students, Hon. Anim said the pupils were given the opportunity to observe parliamentary proceedings and gain first-hand knowledge of how laws are made in Ghana.
“The pupils had the opportunity to observe proceedings and interact with the processes that shape the laws of our country,” he said.
He expressed optimism that the experience would motivate the students to become responsible citizens and future leaders.
“I hope the experience inspires them to become responsible citizens and future leaders committed to serving our nation,” the Kumawu MP added.
Hon. Anim also commended the management and teachers of Bodomase R/C JHS for organising the educational tour, reaffirming his commitment to supporting initiatives that broaden students’ understanding of governance, leadership and civic responsibility.
