A member of the ruling National Democratic Congress [NDC] communications team, Esther Serwaa Forkuo has said that President John Dramani Mahama is not a magician to transform the country in less than two years.
Speaking on Hot 93.9 FM’s Hot Morning Drive, hosted by Oman Nana, Esther Serwaa Fokuo said, “The NPP wants Mahama to do magic, but Mahama came into power less than two years ago… how do you expect him to transform the country in less than two years?”
According to Esther Serwaa Forkuo, expecting complete national transformation within such a short window ignores the time-intensive reality of governance and sustainable policy implementation.
She emphasized that repairing structural economic issues, expanding infrastructure, and stabilizing key public institutions require systematic policy execution rather than overnight miracles.

She explained extensively that “If you look at the 2024 election, it was not between NDC and NPP but it was between NPP and Ghanaians , that is why Ghanaian voted against them”
The NDC female communicator urged Ghanaians to evaluate national development through a realistic lens rather than expecting instant overhauls.
