Celebrated Ghanaian rapper, Medikal has been convicted for brandishing a gun in public. The ‘Omuda” hitmaker has thus been fined GHC3,600 by an Accra Circuit Court.
According to the ruling, In default, Medikal will serve nine months in prison. This was after the rapper changed his plea and pleaded guilty to the charge on Monday morning.
Medikal was subsequently convicted on his own plea by the court presided over by Mr Emmanuel Essandoh.
On September 26,2021 Medikal , raised eyebrows on social media when he was seen in a video flaunting a pistol believed to be newly acquired.
The video, which caught the attention of many, showed him holding the famous Ruger American Pistol.
Medikal’s arrest comes a few hours after he appeared in court to support Shatta Wale during the latter’s trial over the hoax shooting incident.
