An ardent member of the ruling New Patriotic Party,(NPP) Mr Omari Wadie has shared his view on the allegation levelled against President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo by his purported former girlfriend Evelyn Serwaa Broni
It would be recalled that, Serwaa Broni in an interview with US-based Vlogger Kevin Taylor claimed that she has naked videos and pictures of President Akufo-Addo but is holding onto them for the moment.
The Canada-based self-confessed bisexual Ghanaian lady who has fallen out with the President since their first meeting in October 2014 alleged a robbery was staged against her to retrieve her gadgets for which she was supposed to be compensated but some persons took percentages of the money.
She then provided text messages to back up some of her claims. One text message dated Saturday, November 7,2020, allegedly from President Akufo-Addo read:
” Hello Evelyn, you are still my babe,please keep cool you and your girlfriend will be fully sorted out after the elections.John Informed me you had agreed to wait so I didn’t understand the mails of request. I would like to call you but I have noticed my calls frustrate you. It’s busy times.Be Patient a little more.Thank You”.
However, sharing his views on the allegation while speaking as a panelist on ‘Dwene Ho Biom’ political talk show on Accra-based Hot 93.9FM, Omari Wadie who is a staunch member of the NPP and was expected to hastily deny the allegation rather said :
“What is going on in this country…the way people have taken pictures of people and try to blackmail them with them can’t be quantified…today mine has come tomorrow it may be you so we must be careful…Blackmailing is even done in our various campuses … We must all be careful
