A tragic event unfolded at Mallam Junction in the Greater Accra region where a commercial vehicle, known locally as a trotro, veered off course and struck traders operating along the roadside, reportedly resulting in the deaths of three individuals.

The trotro, with the registration number AS 4719-18, was traveling from Gbawe Zero when its brakes allegedly malfunctioned.

While some traders noticed the imminent danger and managed to escape in time, others were less fortunate.
The out-of-control vehicle struck them before they could react, resulting in severe injuries and fatalities.
