Popular Ghanaian professional physical trainer, Francis Totti Laryea has revealed that most players are getting injured because they don’t take Warm-up seriously.
Warming up’ is a part of stretching and preparation for physical exertion or a performance by exercising or practicing gently – usually undertaken before a performance or practice.
Speaking in an interview on Angel TV, Totti Laryea stated categorically that most players get injured because of their inability to warm up very well before entering on the pitch to play.
“As a player, warming up before games is extremely important…there are most players who don’t take warming up seriously …they see it as a worry when they’re asked to warm up …but that is not the case…but warm up opens the veins for blood to circulate well in the body….Warm Up also prepares the player mentally”.
