The Chairman of the NPP UK Branch, Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong, has stated that he will never sit in the popular transport service in Ghana termed trotro due to the poor transport system in the country.
According to the Chairman, he does not trust Ghanaian drivers and can contract tetanus with the status of the vehicle structure. Also, every developed country is ranked prioritised with their transport infrastructure.
”I have been graced, I will never sit in trotro. I do not trust the drivers and do not want to contract tetanus from those vehicles…… every country is ranked with their transport infrastructure”……. the NPP Uk chairman stated on the Hot Fm’s ‘Hot Morning Drive’ show.
In an exclusive interview with Agya Wusu on Hot Morning Drive, the chairman empathised with the situation, stating that there was no alternative for the transport system because the past governance led by the National Democratic Congress(NDC) gov’t had created a backward development of the nation amidst having opportunities to turn things around for development.
Kingsley, who was to turn up for the early morning program aired on HOT 93.9 Fm, again, blamed the country’s transport infrastructure on his late arrival to the show.
Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong won the recent elections held in Uk in May 2022 from an early October 2021 campaign according to a Ghanaweb source.
Some of his key visions are to enhance NPP Uk’s influence in the diaspora and Ghana through effective advocacy and professional networking group, breaking the 8, and rationalising dues payment across all chapters.
