The Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, George Mireku Duker, has called on the people of Nsuta to cast their votes for him and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
During a town hall engagement in Nsuta, he emphasized the long-standing neglect of Nsuta and its surrounding areas.
Duker outlined several special projects aimed at job creation and development for the 438 communities in the area.
These projects include a small-scale mining program, an incubation program, a quarry value addition program, and the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) surveillance program. He assured the residents that these initiatives would be expanded to provide more employment opportunities.
Additionally, the MP urged the constituents to support and vote for the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in order to achieve a historic third consecutive term for the party.
Duker emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort to bring about the desired development in the region.
In his appeal, Duker highlighted the need for continuous support and commitment from the people of Nsuta to ensure the successful implementation of these development projects and to secure a prosperous future for the community.
