In a gesture of unity and goodwill, former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo spent a special moment with former President John Agyekum Kufuor during the Easter festivities.
The meeting, which took place on Saturday, April 19, was shared by Akufo-Addo in a Facebook post celebrating the occasion.
Expressing his delight, Akufo-Addo described the encounter as a cherished opportunity to engage with someone he deeply respects. He fondly referred to Kufuor as “ever-cheerful and highly spirited,” adding that he considers him his “boss”—a title that reflects both admiration and loyalty.
“It is always a pleasure to spend time with my boss, President John Agyekum Kufuor,” Akufo-Addo wrote. “His warmth and wisdom remain a blessing to us all.”
The reunion served as a symbolic reaffirmation of the strong bond between two prominent figures in Ghana’s Fourth Republic, both of whom have contributed significantly to the country’s democratic progress.
The Easter encounter has since resonated with many Ghanaians, who see it as a reflection of the values of unity, respect, and continuity in national leadership.
