Member of Parliament for Garu, Hon. Dr. Thomas Anaba, has expressed strong support for the performance of the Mahama-led government, just seven months into office.
Dr. Anaba cited significant improvements in the health sector, economic stabilisation, job creation, and anti-corruption efforts as key reasons for his optimism.
“The government has made notable strides in the health sector, particularly with the removal of the cap on National Health Insurance and timely payment of arrears to hospitals,” Dr. Anaba said.
“This has ensured that hospitals have sufficient resources to operate effectively and provide quality healthcare to Ghanaians.”
The MP also commended the government’s efforts to stabilise the economy, create jobs, and improve infrastructure.
“The government has initiated programs to employ more nurses, set up youth entities, and complete projects left behind by previous administrations,” he added.
“These initiatives demonstrate the government’s commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians.”
Dr. Anaba further praised the government’s anti-corruption efforts, including the pursuit of allegations against a former finance minister.
“The government’s commitment to transparency and accountability is evident in its actions. We are optimistic that these efforts will bring about positive change and improve the lives of Ghanaians.”
He expressed confidence in the government’s ability to drive progress and improve the lives of Ghanaians, stating
“We are excited about the direction of the country, and we believe that the government will continue to work tirelessly to address the challenges facing our nation.”
