The Kaneshie District Court has discharged two persons alleged to have murdered Nana Ndoli Panyin lll, Baamuhene of Kramokrom in the Western North region.
The two are Kwame Ofori, a pastor and Nana Kwame Kwakye, Sumankwahene of Kwahu Traditional area. According to the prosecutor, Inspector John Baidoo, evidence gathered against the two are too weak to warrant prosecution.
He also told the court that forensic results from the laboratory show no finger print match on the machete suspected to have been used to commit the murder. Hot News’ Editor, Philip Mawuli Tetteh who was in court today 2nd December 2020 reports that a new suspect by name Sampson Baidoo has been arrested in connection with the murder.
He was arrested at Asankragua in the Western region two weeks ago. According to Inspector John Baidoo, investigations are ongoing whilst the police are making efforts to arrest his accomplices.
Nana Ndoli Panyin lll, known in private life as Mr Peter Antwi was the Finance Manager of Hot FM until he was murdered at a hotel in Kaneshie. The case has been adjourned to 16th December, 2020.
