The National Theatre of Ghana is proud to present “Fun World”, a dynamic youth entertainment and educational program that unearths many young talents. The program is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 19th, 2025.

This month’s edition of Fun World is themed:” Preserving Ghanaian intangible cultural heritage for sustainable development”.   The program aligns with the United Nations’ recognition of the International Day of intangible cultural heritage.

The event aims to promote Ghana’s intangible cultural heritage and its significance in shaping the nation’s identity. It will also highlight the importance of safeguarding and preserving cultural heritage for future generations.

The Ghanaian culture is rich in heritage, passed down through generations, ensuring the continuation of cultural practices and traditions. Children develop a sense of belonging and identity by learning about their cultural heritage. It gives them exposure to various intangible cultural practices, encourages appreciation and respect for diverse cultures.

Fun World thrills lots of children with variety of ‘edutainment’. It provides a platform for schools to showcase their talents in dance performances, music performances, poetry recitals, dance choreography, rap music, drama performances and many more activities.

Participating schools for this month’s Fun World include Veritas Int. School, Brighter Harmony schools, Glory Divine Academy, West Ridge Int. School, Besmon Academy, among others.

The National Theatre invites students, parents and educators to participate in Fun World, a vibrant celebration of Ghanaian culture and creativity. Time is 1:00PM prompt at the National Theatre main auditorium.
