Controversial talent manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, better known as Bullgod, has declared that Black Sherif shouldn’t just win Artiste of the Year at the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA)—he should win everything.
Scheduled for May 9, the 2026 TGMA will see industry heavyweights like Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, Kwabena Kwabena, and Piesie Esther battle for the prestigious Artiste of the Year title once the nominations are officially released.
Speaking on Hot 93.9FM’s mid-morning show, ‘Aye Hu’—hosted by Big Kay, Bullgod argued that, given Black Sherif’s magnificent performance in the year under review, the “Oil City” hitmaker should take home every single plaque on the table—regardless of gender or genre.
“He must win Female Artiste of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year, Rapper of the Year..Dancehall Artiste of the Year… He must win everything,” Bullgod stated with his trademark bravado.
In addition to his media rounds, Bullgod has launched a social impact project to improve conditions in police holding cells.
The initiative, themed “Bright Walls, Better Minds,” seeks to transform police cells into more humane and mentally uplifting spaces through murals, colour, and creative expression.
The first phase of the project was completed on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, marking what organisers describe as the official execution stage.
