The Court of Appeal has again thrown out an appeal filed by legendary ex-Ghanaian footballer, Nii Odartey Lamptey’s ex-wife to own his plush East Legon residence.

Gloria Appiah, the divorced wife of Nii Odartey Lamptey, had sought to claim ownership of the seven-bedroom apartment as part of her alimony after their divorce.

The tensions began in 2013 after reports emerged that DNA tests had uncovered the fact that the couple’s three children were not indeed fathered by Lamptey.

He had secretly taken samples from the three children and did a DNA test, which revealed that none of the three girls was fathered by him, although they had been together for nearly 20 years.

Currently, the former Black Stars player is married to Ruweida Yakubu, with whom he has 3 children.
