Popular social media critic, Albert Nat Hyde normally referred to as Bongo Ideas, has allegedly accused an online prayer alpha headed by Pastor Agyemang Elvis of psychologically scamming its members with an amount of GHC100,000 weekly in a virtual prayer session.

According to Bongo Ideas, the scam is a spiritual exercise and the man of God behind Alpha Hour uses it to feel important and decisive for his online masses to extort money from them.

“Alpha Hour is a psychological scam disguised as spiritual exercise that a supposed “man of God” uses to make himself feel important, deceive an online audience, and extort money from them as tithes or offerings”, Bongo Ideas stated on his Twitter handle.

Alpha Hour is an online church service which sees thousands of people join the online feed at midnight to pray. For about a year now the numbers that join the live feed at midnight have been increasing at an increasing rate.

Meanwhile, Pastor Agyemang Elvis has been criticised by a bunch of social media users after he allegedly cursed anonymous hackers who took off his youtube channel in a viral video sighted by Hotfmghana.

In the video address, Pastor Agyeman said he’s very upset by the actions of the culprits who have dishonourable intentions of attacking his ministry and the gospel of God.
“Hijacking the page didn’t hurt me like deleting the sermons. Because of what you have done, everything God created will be against you,” he said.

However, most people have also commended the online prayer Alpha for changing their life and reminding them of the importance of prayers as humans.
