She thanked Captain One Golf Society, the coaches and management team for their continued support, adding that the achievement would inspire the team to work harder while encouraging more young people to take up golf.
Head coach YB Okyere praised the players for their discipline and composure throughout the competition.
“We’re delighted with the performance of the team. The players executed our game plan with discipline, remained composed under pressure and displayed the consistency needed to compete at the highest level,” he said.
President and Founder of the Captain One Golf Society, Pius Ayeh Appiah, described the performances as evidence of the impact of the Captain One Kids Project.
He said the initiative remains committed to identifying and nurturing young golfing talents and appealed to corporate organisations and individuals to support the project to help develop the next generation of Ghanaian golfers.
