The 2023 Rhythms on Da Runway unfolded last night at the Christianborg Castle in Accra on Saturday, December 2.
This year’s theme: The Aqua Edition served as a visual feast for fashion and music enthusiasts.
Renowned CEO of Nineteen 57 clothing, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), curated an enchanting showcase featuring diverse fashion talents, advocating for proper care of water bodies.
Distinguished industry figures like Rex Omar, Bessa Simons, Legendary Pat Thomas, and Politicians including NDC’s Peter Boamah Otokunor and MP for Ningo-Prampram Sam George graced the event.
Musical brilliance took center stage with electrifying performances by Tic Tac and others ensuring an engaging experience for the audience.
One of the moments that characterized the much-attended event was how Hip-Life music legend TiC, formerly known as Tic Tac, confronted the MP for Ningo-Prampram.
While performing, Tic paused his set to address Sam George, who was seated in the audience. He questioned why the Lawmaker had refused to sing his monster hit song “Philomena Kpitinge”
“Don’t tell me you don’t know this song…I know you know this song… Come on man!!”, Tic ‘scolded’ the MP
The NDC bigwig absorbed the TiC criticism with equanimity and even cracked a smile. He maintained an impeccable composure throughout.
