Samuel Opoku, a new recruit is said to have fallen while engaging in physical training at the Naval Training Command at Nutekpor near Dabala in the Volta Region.
He went unconscious after falling. He was rushed to the hospital but died in the process.
His body has since been deposited at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
The deceased was part of 324 recruits who were brought to the Navy Training Academy to under both physical and academic training ahead of their passing out.
