The Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) Ghana has confirmed the country’s participation in the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, which will be held from July 23 to August 2 in Scotland.
Team Ghana is expected to compete in nine sporting disciplines, with approximately 40 athletes set to represent the country at the multi-sport event.
The association said preparations are underway to ensure the athletes are adequately equipped and ready to compete at the highest level as Ghana seeks to make a strong impression on the international stage.
Officials of the CGA Ghana have expressed confidence in the team’s preparations and reiterated their commitment to providing the necessary support for athletes ahead of the Games.
As part of preparations for the competition, THB has been unveiled as the official kit partner of Team Ghana.
Under the arrangement, THB will provide both competition and ceremonial attire for Ghana’s contingent during the Games.
The partnership is expected to ensure that Team Ghana is fully kitted as athletes prepare to carry the nation’s hopes at one of the Commonwealth’s premier sporting events.
