The Kaneshie district court has once again adjourned the Abesim murder case .

Barely three months ago, a 31-Year-old surveyor, Richard Appiah was arrested by the Ghana police service at Abesim in Sunyani for murdering his younger brother and other people.

He  kept their bodies in his fridge. The case which was supposed to heard on Monday, October 25,2021 at the Kaneshie district Court in Accra has been adjourned to 17th November, 2021.

Explaining the reason behind the adjournment of the case, Hot FM’s reporter K’Dee told Nana Ampofo – host of ‘Ay3 HU’ that “the magistrate could not come to court today because she is on sick leave”. “The first time they went to court the magistrate could not be in court because she had taken a sick leave”.

K”Dee stated that the family of Richard Sarpong whose body was found in the fridge has gone for an Independent lawyer from Canada to defend their late son who was killed by Richard Appiah.

He added that he picked some intelligence from some senior officers to write to the state attorney in order to refer the case to the High court.
