“Politicians only do settings with us; they don’t give us anything” – BuzStopBoys[Video]

The leader and founder of BuzStopBoys, Heneba Kwadwo Safo, has made an astonishing revelation that the politicians and high-ranking officials who frequently pose for photos with the group offer them absolutely no financial or logistical support.

The BuzStopBoys is an acclaimed volunteer group comprised of young professionals and tradespeople.

They have been driving a puissant new wave of civic responsibility across Ghana, picking up brooms, shovels, and matching energy to clear the massive mounds of rubbish clogging cities and towns.

Their impactful initiatives have won the admiration of local celebrities, top politicians, and even international onlookers.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Bullet TV, Heneba Kwadwo Safo didn’t hold back about the reality of dealing with state officials.

He clarified that despite the heavy media attention and public handshakes, the group receives empty gestures instead of actual resources.

He urged leaders to look past the superficial photo-ops and focus on the economic and environmental potential of sanitation. According to Safo, the government is missing a massive opportunity to tackle unemployment through the environment.

Frustrated by bureaucratic delays and empty talk, the leader and founder of the BuzStopBoys pointed out how quickly chronic national issues could be solved with the right backing and intent.

“To be honest, I will say a lot of them are for settings… just PR. I’m speaking and talking about what we need, and if you are a government official and you come to me and you know that we can create one million jobs from sanitation, so if not for PR, then let’s sit down.” He said

“What am I saying? It’s just grammar. Let’s do the calculation on the table. Let’s even leverage it on social media. A lot of creators are dancing and getting a lot of money from it, so if we can get content creators who are doing environmental things that are promoting this country, like Samuel White did for Road Safety and is generating income, Odawna can get desilted within two weeks.” He added
