Award-winning Ghanaian musician and development chief Sparqlyn has warmed hearts online after publicly celebrating the hardworking team behind his massive success story in 2025.
The artiste, known in private life as Ahmmed Kanneh Larweh and revered traditionally as Nene Kanneh Larweh I, used the moment to remind fans that behind every shining star is a dedicated team whose sacrifices often go unnoticed.
The year 2025 proved to be a defining chapter in Sparqlyn’s journey, as he secured six major honours, including five local awards and one major continental recognition.
His biggest international highlight came when he was crowned African Best Ghanaian Musician of the Year at the African Performance Leadership Awards (APLA) in Lagos, Nigeria, placing him among respected African creatives celebrated for both artistic excellence and leadership influence.
Back home in Ghana, the recognition continued when MUSIGA honoured him during the Akwaaba Festival for his contribution to the music industry and youth empowerment initiatives, while a triple victory at the Stars Awards further reinforced his growing influence beyond music into cultural leadership.
However, instead of basking solely in personal glory, Sparqlyn turned the spotlight onto his inner circle, describing their contributions as the true driving force behind the achievements.
He reserved special praise for his wife and General Manager, Maryanne Nyarkoa, crediting her strategic leadership and unwavering belief in the vision for keeping everything aligned even during challenging moments. According to him, her guidance created the backbone of the successful year.
