Ghanaian musician and traditional chief, Ahmmed Kanneh Larweh, widely known in entertainment circles as Sparqlyn, has revealed that the remainder of this year and the years ahead will be focused on deepening his presence within the European community.
Speaking after completing a four-country European tour, with stops in France, the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, Sparqlyn noted that the experience broadened his vision for expanding Ghanaian music beyond African audiences.
According to him, although his music enjoys strong popularity within African communities across the continent and abroad, the tour made it clear that his next mission is to ensure his sound and cultural influence reach a truly global audience.
“For years, I have promoted Ghanaian music and culture across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Now, after touring Europe, I have seen the potential to go even further. The diaspora is ready, and Europe will be a major focus for me,” he said.
He further noted that the major success chalked on the European front could have not been possible without the successes he chalked with regards to various accolades which included African Best Ghanaian Musician of the Year awarded by African Performance Leadership Awards (APLA), a MUSIGA honour at the Akwaaba Festival for his contribution to the music industry and youth empowerment initiatives, and also a triple victory at the Stars Awards all in 2025.

Also, amid all this glory he has chalked and the many he aspires to achieve in the years ahead as part of expanding his fan base, the talented musician has maintained that his team which include Kenneth Koranteng (International Partnerships & Business Development Lead) and also Abdul Manaf Saeed (Creative Director) are the silent heros as their works behind the scenes make everything he does and has achieved possible.
As part of his plans, Sparqlyn disclosed that he has an upcoming collaboration with TEENO, a German-based artist, which is a new single and a music video scheduled for release soon.
As a multiple award-winning African musician and a traditional chief from the Manya Krobo Traditional Area, Sparqlyn emphasised that his work in Europe will extend beyond music. He outlined a series of initiatives he plans to undertake in 2026, including:
Cultural exchange programs, Music festivals and live showcases, Diaspora engagement and outreach, Educational initiatives, and Youth development projects.

He further noted that these efforts will not only elevate his craft but also strengthen connections between Ghana, its diaspora communities, and the broader global music landscape.
Sparqlyn’s European agenda marks a significant new chapter in his career, one that blends entertainment, culture, and leadership as he continues to champion Ghanaian identity on the world stage
