Hearts of Oak in the past few weeks have yearned to capture Konadu Yiadom from WAFA but all approaches have proved futile.
Speaking to the operations manager of WAFA, Mr Ofosu-hene, he stated that he was devastated at the format a well respected club like Hearts were employing in this modern football world.
” I am just shocked at Hearts Of Oak with all due respect. Football has grown, clubs buy from clubs not agents of players, how do you deal with a player’s agent when the player belongs to a club?” He quizzed
” Asante Kotoko did the right thing by writing officially to WAFA for the services of Yiadom but Hearts did not, all we heard was that they were dealing with the player’s agent, but how? He asked
” the player remains WAFA’s property and we will sell him at the appropriate time” He concluded
Yiadom is the current captain of WAFA and his club currently occupies the 14th position with 17 points after 15 matches, they play day 16 against Techiman 11 wonders at the Nana Ameyaw park in Techiman.
