UK-based Ghanaian afro gospel artiste, Joseph Matthew better known as JM has carved a niche for himself as a gospel artiste noted for dropping world-Class songs and videos.
The sensational afro gospel musician has announced his presence in the Ghanaian music scene again with another confounding song titled ‘The Name’.
‘The Name’ ,is crooned in mid-tempo vein with a sumptuous rhythm, a great bass tune and drum beat to match. Produced by award-winning instrumentalist, Francis Osei, ‘The Name’ offers great inspiration to all Christians and unbelievers.
It actually talks about the essence of believing in God’s name . The video of the song was also produced and directed by UK-based award-winning music video director, Martin Sean.
Just like the song clip for his smashing hit songs, “Nyame Ye, My Story and Not Alone, JM did not fail to sweep us off our feet with the aesthetic artwork, scenery and choreography.
The video is dominantly dark themed with two beautiful sceneries that are meant to coordinate the story appropriately. Though he lives in the UK, together with video vixens collaborate the contemporary melody with the ‘Gbeze’ and other popular afrobeat dances.
Unlike his previous music videos where he was mostly dressed in steller African wears, JM, in “The Name” music video elegantly dressed like a Hip-Hop star.
