Why Richard Attah Missed Hearts’ CAF Confederation Cup Game In Algeria


Hearts of Oak were without their first-choice goalkeeper Richard Attah for their CAF Confederation Cup game against JS Saoura of Algeria.

The match  which was played on Sunday , December 5,2021 ended 4-0 in favour of the Algerians.

Explaining why the number one goalkeeper of the team was not selected , a source told this portal that the 26-year-old Black Stars goalie was admitted to hospital in Bechar due to malaria.

According to the source, he suffered Malaria  when the Phobians arrived in the North African country.

Hearts have now been eliminated from the competition on a 4-2 aggregate score.
