A leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Alhassan Tabsoba has called the Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Akuffo Dampare a coward after failing to arrest the member of Parliament for Abetifi South Bryan Acheampong. According to him, the IGP who has been arresting almost every member of the Ndc for speaking against the incumbent government has pretended not to have heard the reckless statement by the Mp who doubles as the Agric Minister in Nana Addo’s administration.
He made this during an interview with Agya Wusu on Hot Morning Drive in Accra. The former Gyeeda boss bemoaned the extent of biases by the IGP for being quick to arrest Ndc members but hesitates to do the same when it comes to New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He called on the IGP C.O.P George Dampare to immediately arrest the minister to avoid an equal response from the biggest opposition party Ndc. He has finally called on the Christian Council of Ghana and other civil society organizations to call the Npp to others to enjoy the peaceful Ghana we have.
