Gospel super-songstress Piesie Esther has made a shocking claim that police officers aimed their guns at her father during a house visit to arrest him over a debt.
In an exclusive interview on the social talk show “AyeHu” on Accra-based Hot 93.9FM, Piesie Esther while sharing some of the challenges she faced before achieving fame said:
“My mother was married, but life was really tough… Hardship forced my father into exile. He was a responsible man who gave us all the love a parent should”.

The multiple award-winning gospel singer continued, “I remember a time when armed policemen came to our house to collect a debt from my father. He was a strong man and resisted arrest, at which point the policemen cocked their guns at him.”
Piesie Esther is currently promoting her latest single, “Nyame Ye,” which is already being celebrated as one of the biggest hits of 2025.
