Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, says his side is putting in the work to identify and exploit the weaknesses of Asante Kotoko ahead of Sunday’s much-anticipated Super Clash.
The two Ghanaian giants go head-to-head on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in a Matchday 9 fixture of the Ghana Premier League, with both teams currently unbeaten this season.
Speaking to 3Sports, Didi acknowledged Kotoko’s quality but expressed confidence in his team’s strategy and preparation:
“Kotoko are a tough opponent with experience and pedigree. Every team has its strengths and weaknesses — we’ll focus on maximizing ours while exploiting theirs. Our goal is to stay consistent, maintain our identity, and play with intensity to win the game.”
This fixture marks the first-ever Premier League Super Clash between the current head coaches — Didi Dramani and Abdul Karim Zito — adding an extra layer of intrigue to an already historic rivalry.
For Didi, still early in his tenure with Hearts, optimism is high. Club legend Amankwah Mireku, a five-time league champion with the Phobians, has lauded the team’s steady progress under his leadership — a timely confidence boost ahead of Sunday’s showdown.
