Akufo-Addo Names 19 Cabinet Ministers

President Nana Akufo-Addo has named 19 ministers into his Cabinet in line with the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.

A document  showed the list of 19 includes new entrants like Samuel Abu Jinapor, Minister for Lands, Asenso Boakye Minister for Housing and Mavis Hawa Koomson, Fisheries Minister.

The Cabinet of Ghana is the Executive Branch of the Government of Ghana with members appointed by the President and report to the President directly.

Not every Minister is a cabinet Minister. The Cabinet is constituted in conformity with Article 76 (1) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.

The Constitution enjoins the President to have a Cabinet of not less than 10 and not more than 19 ministers.
