Following the recent shooting happenings of personnel of the Ghana Immigration Service on the Bawku road from Missiga on Monday night, business activities in the town have reportedly been seized.
According to Hotfmghana’s reporter from Bawku, most workforce living in the environs of Bawku are in fear for their lives forcing them out of the region.
The working force included teachers, nurses, drivers and many more.
The Bawku incident led to the death of one officer of the service while two have been confirmed injured.
The immigration officers who were injured during the shooting incident are receiving treatment.
One of them has been transferred to the Tamale Teaching Hospital while the other one is receiving treatment at the Bawku Presby Hospital.
