NCCE Announces Voters Card Registration For Ghanaians

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has announced the commencement of the registration of voter identification cards (ID) for Ghanaians aged eighteen (18) and above and of sound mind.

The exercise starts on Tuesday, 12th September 2023, till Monday, 2nd October 2023, including weekends at the Electoral Commission’s district offices nationwide.

Possession of a Ghana Card or Ghanaian passport qualifies an individual for the registration, however, an applicant without any of these requires two (2) guarantors with the voter ID card.

Also, the replacement of lost voter ID cards commences on Tuesday, 3rd October 2023, while the transfer of votes starts on 3rd October to Monday, 9th October 2023, at all ECs district offices across the nation.

The Governmental agency responsible for educating and encouraging the public to defend this Constitution at all times has urged Ghanaians to kindly take part in the exercise.
