Football has been one surprisingly amazing event that takes place worldwide. People put their hearts into football, they love the moments. Others, sometimes, compare their loved ones to the play these days.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is ongoing in Qatar after assertions by a few countries against the venue.

While it has been a loving tournament for people globally others usually say vice versa.

The Black Stars of Ghana happened to be in the Group H of the tournament. Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay were the nations to compete in Group H.

Ghanaians were extremely jubilated after they narrowly qualified for the competition in a fire-flame away leg fixture with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Astonishingly, Portugal, who in history arrived on the Gold Coast as the first Europeans in ancient Ghana, was the first tie for the Black Stars.

Ghana lost its first match opener, yet a late strike by Osman Bukhari into the nets of the Portuguese, boosted the confidence of Ghanaians into the next group-staged match with South Korea even though they were bitten by Christiano Ronaldo’s FIFA alleged smartness.

The South Koreans reacted bitterly after they were taken by surprise by a Kudus Mohammed late goal-winner.

In relation to the 2010 South Africa World Cup, the football History between Ghana and Uruguay has not been a friendly one. The Group H fixture between the two nations has been named the tournament’s favorite.

Before the last fixture for the round of sixteen deciders, Luis Suarez who acted as an enzyme in the decade feud in football stories refused to apologize when he was approached with such allegations by a Ghanaian journalist.

Final day Group fixtures were played simultaneously. The Black Stars did not look happy after the captain Andre Dede Ayew missed a very important penalty in what looked like a Video Assistance Referee compensator to Ghana after social media supporters alleged FIFA over the Five Time Ballon Dor’s Penalty given in the first clash.

After the Penalty miss, Luis Suarez’s side doubled the lead before Half time. The scoreline and table carried Uruguay away after a digital report confirmed South Koreans had a greater chance of qualifying for the next stage of the competition with goal difference analytics.

Suarez’s look on camera did not look healthy prior to the final whistle.
Coach Otto Addo’s late tactical transformations contributed to the turndown of Uruguay’s qualifying for the next stage of the competition.

However, Suarez’s look gave Ghanaians joy to calm the 2010 rivalry they encountered with him in South Africa.

Portugal and South Korea qualify for the next stage of the competition.
