One of the most respected media personalities of our time, Blakk Rasta, has criticised the leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana[LPG], Kofi Akpaloo, for his careless remarks about the military helicopter crash.
The military helicopter which crashed in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, August 6, 2024, claimed eight lives, including two Cabinet Ministers: Dr Omane Boamah and Dr Ibrahim Mohammed.
While expressing his views about the tragic incident on Wontumi TV, Kofi Akpaloo, with a chilling lack of empathy, stated astonishingly that,” The helicopter crashed into a cocoa farm because Mahama has lied to cocoa farmers”.
The leader of the LPG further worsened the national outrage by callously downplaying the tragedy by stating, ” even 16 children are dead, so what is the big deal if these men die”.
His words, a jarring blend of political opportunism and profound disrespect for the dead, have sent shockwaves through a nation already reeling from loss.
Reacting to Kofi Akpaloo’s submission on his show, Blakk Rasta rained unprintable insults on the Politician. “Kofi Akpaloo is an idiot, who wanted to be President; he is a fool for his loose talk”.
The celebrated radio personality not only condemned Akpaloo’s words but also questioned his very moral character, painting a picture of a man who would stoop to any low for political gain, even at the cost of basic human decency.
