Nigerien International, Victorien Adebayor has denied allegations by Accra Hearts Of Oak’s Striker Ademola Kuti that he was convinced by him not to join the Ghana Premier League giants in the ongoing transfer window.

Adebayor, had been a long transfer target for the Phobians and there was a reported move for the player in this window.

The former Inter Allies marksman who left for Denmark to join First Division side Koge returned to the Ghana Premier League just after a short spell to join Legon Cities.

Adebayor has joined Legon Cities on loan, after snubbing the Phobians who had shown keen interest in signing him. But in an interview monitored by Hotfmghana.com Ademola Kuti alleged that he was the mastermind behind Adebayor’s move to Legon Cities.

” Adebayor didn’t come to Hearts because of me. I told him that I will be disappointed in him if he signs for Hearts. I convinced him not to come because he would suffer when he comes”. He said.

Reacting to Ademola Kuti’s allegations on Hot 93.9FM’s Sports Show ‘Hot Focal Sports’, Victorien Adebayor astonishingly exposed the Nigerian forward by indicating that:

“What Ademola said are all lies… seriously, I don’t know Ademola…I have never met him before — in fact, I can’t even differentiate his height; whether he is tall or short.

According to Adebayor,” God should deal with me severely if i know Ademola … I don’t know him, i don’t have his number…He is from Nigeria and I am from Niger…I don’t speak English but French”

Fumed Adebayor cautioned the Hearts Of Oak’s Striker to desist from tarnishing his hard-earned reputation.
